Common names: Sycamore (English)
Description: Deciduous tree to 30 m with glabrous branchlets. Milky latex absent. Leaves 5-lobed; petiole often red; lamina large (7-15 cm), lobes acute, coarsely serrate. Flowers numerous, in pendulous panicles, appearing with the leaves. Fruits glabrous, with wings spreading at at an angle of c. 90 degrees.
